i thought red dead 2 would get a 99 but since it dropped to 97 it got me wondering....well ive always wondered but i hardly hear anybody speak about it everytime a big game drops....do yall think Zelda OOT will ever be matched in our lifetime ?...like its pretty ridiculous that no other game has been able to match that score...a game that came out 20 years ago at that...like think about it the Horizon's God of war spiderman Uncharted's of the world couldnt get a 99...and im pretty sure most of u would say they're all better than OOT...so why hasn't a 20 year old game been matches yet ?

that joint right there tho? that was my shyt. can't lie, been obsessed w/ ending father times win streak since I played it. my boy had the gold cartridge. one thing I can say to add to what everyone else said. shyt was groundbreaking. most of the games that were open world @ that time were turn based rpgs and w/ those you felt a bit limited. this was almost like a version of gta because of the freedom you had. Add to the fact that this was revolutionary time for gaming.

when we made the jump to 3d in that system gen, we really made leaps and bounds in such a small time. when it first came about, you still had to read the speech of characters, to where by the end of that era (5-7 years) it was a basic version of what we have today. we haven't reached the tantamount of innovation that occurred during that time since! (from a gameplay perspective, not technological)

There is a motolov coktail. you have to create it breh... I unfortunately don't need it cause I got two guns nice with it....

Just had the most epic gun fight on horseback, while in camp the Driscoll boy that turned cane up to Arthur and mentioned some Driscoll gang members have been seen close to town. You have the option of telling him not now or listening anyway decide to listen because Arthur owes him one. So Arthur merrily strolls along camp talking to his “family” and one of the girls asks him to get a pen for her because he dream is to write a book or something like that. So Arthur decided fukk it and gets on his horse to go into town and see if he can get this pen. A minute or so out of camp he is ambushed by maybe five or six of the Driscoll boys and because they are so close to camp I get pissed so decide to lead them on a chase. They are chasing Arthur as they ride on horse back and blasting at him and then Arthur uses dead eye and instantly takes down two and then blasts a third when he gets close talking all that shyt. After the others see this and realise Arthur is not one to be fukked with they hightail it out of here on some I ain’t dealing with this. Anyway seeing as Arthur is only one and there are two of them he decides to go after one of the two unlucky sons of a bytch. Anyway Arthur catches up to him and he is speaking that Irish shyt, Arthur deadeyes and puts three in his head. You should have seen how this fool slumped of his horse.

Dam the random epic shyt that occur in this game are insane, I am in love with this game haven’t put it down since Friday.

Ive spent most of my time hunting, challenges, and doing side missions. The challenge were you get 3 perfect rabbit pelts had me feeling like Elmer Fudd


The Arabian horse is worth the trip to the mountain area. You can also hunt the legendary white Bison around there if you have the map. The poisonous trail treasure is around there too.

The atmosphere in this game is seriously beautiful especially at night. If only the HDR worked as it should.

I was on my way to Black Belle which was far as hell from where you get the mission. On my way there I see a man fiddling with his horse off the side of the road and the horse just kicked his ass which resulted in him dying immediately and ran away. I chuckled...

Then I looted him .

A few minutes later I'm trying to Far Cry this shyt in first person mode while atop my horse(which I think was stolen), ran over a rock and fell RIGHT next to a train track with an oncoming train. A few seconds later, my horse met his untimely fate. He got hit. The funny thing is his body wasn't even on the tracks so it seems like the hitbox must've got registered because it didn't look like it hit him but it was done after that.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the % completion is how much of the map you discovered

It isn't. I've been putting in a lot of time messing around. I upgraded everything in the camp to max and Arthur has 5/7/5 level stats. I also hunted 10/16 of the legendary animals.

Do you lose the weapons from those old gunslingers you track down? I killed Midnight Billy and went to some backyard fence to offload some shyt. Then a bunch of random ass white trash bums hanging all around decided to jump me and I got killed by the law. Can’t find the guy mauer pistol anywhere now

This could get a thread of its own.
The issue I see with this is that as technology changes, so do our expectations.
There are plenty of games that came out recently the blow Zelda OOT out of the water.
So the answer to your question is yes and no.
There will continue to be better games than Zelda OOT but the review score might not reflect that given the impact Zelda had in its day.
