Invincible has a beginning, middle, and end. Completely wrapped up and I'm pretty sure none of the spin off titles that take place in the same universe are required reading for the main story. That is to say you shouldn't have to read any non Invincible comics to get the story.

Has a cartoon on Amazon that updates some things but is still fairly accurate to the source material.

The 1st few issues lull you into thinking its a generic coming of age superhero story until the twist.

Invincible.
Blackest Knight run is good.
Jim Starlin's 2003 Thanos run.

Thor God of Thunder by Jason Aaron is a MUST READ. Best Marvel book in years.

Grant Morrison's Action Comics run is really good. Superman is younger, isn't as OP, he can't fly yet and wears shirt, pants and boots as a costume. He's a lot more brash, less of a boy scout, he doesn't give af about cops or the military.

What are you into?

I liked the first 2 walking dead comics but was never into the tv series

I also read a Vision comic that I won but wasn’t really interested in that per se but I’m interested in the Marvel Universe comics. I feel like I’m missing out on a lot

All of the works by Luna Brothers are pretty good actually.

Ultra, The Sword, Girls, Alex + Ada

This is a page from Girls, almost as if it were written by a coli breh

Ok. A definite pick should be the ultimate spider man series. Its really well done. But stay away from anything else with ultimate in the title. The rest of that line is a fukking wreck. The current xmen series has kind of been a rebuilding line for the franchise and has changed up things quite a bit. Theres some callbacks, but it isnt a major deal.
