yes i7 is better. esp ivy and sandy bridge. thus the reason this laptop is molly whopping 2/3 of those towers. :uhhuh:

nobody is. what I'm saying is for half the price you can get an i7, with just as many RAM, HD space on a 64 bit laptop.

it's quite easy to build your own computer, so if I wanted to REALLY compare, I'd embarrass those specs for a much cheaper price and better tower.

I got a alienware m14x while it was on sale for black friday...very happy with it so far kills any current game on high or better graphics with no issues. However they are overpriced at the base price. Best deals while I was shopping around at base price seemed to be Asus G55VW or G75VW. I also hear great things about HP envy. Even tho I haven't fukked with HP in a min people who own it seem to be very happy with it
