How are finding the pro controller? Looking at getting one myself but would much rather an official Sony one, plus they're currently wired
That's the pro controller I wanted to get too.
How is the controller? :oprah:
I'll drop a real review after I've had a chance to put some time into COD with it. I would have preferred official Sony but nothing exists. Scoff seems to be trash because they malfunction and break often. Being wired doesn't bother me because I game in my home office at my desk on a separate TV so I'm never more than a few feet away from the console.
Initial impressions:
- Same EXACT form factor of an Xbox One controller. So if you aren't use to playing with one, you're in for a steep learning curve FPS wise. I own a XOne but almost never use it so it took me several games to get a feel for it. The macro buttons on the back of the controller feel oddly placed to me right now but I chalk that up to not being use to the controller.
- I don't feel a lot of difference with the different weights but maybe that's something that will come with play time.
- I expected the controller to have or be made with some type of grip around where you hold the controller. It feels a little slick to me..that could be just because it's new.
- The companion app to modify profiles, mappings, sensitives, etc. is a little clunky.
- Speaking of being wired, you have about 6-10 feet worth of cord.
- It's only available in Europe, so it took a little over a week to ship.
I'll have more after I get use to it.
