I need a review on these

I cut my own hair and was trying to hold off until Christmas Eve but was like f*ck it, the least I can do is tighten my lining up.

In the box: Trimmer itself, cleaning brush, oil, charger and storage bag.

PROS:

- The blade - getting it off is incredibly easy, it's good quality and so far the anti-build up coating seems to work as advertised.
- Power - it comes 60% pre-charged but it didn't take long for me to fully charge it. They advertise 4 hours of continued use on a full charge and 60 days standby.
- Zero Gapping - hella easy. You can literally remove the blade, zero gap or adjust the blade level and re-attach the blade and be ready to cut in less than 20 seconds. Be careful with zero gapped because I'm use to my T-Liners and I cut the sh*t out of myself until I realized I just need to light touch/finesse the trimmers.
- Cord - it's a legit cordless trimmer. I've tried a couple different kinds and end up going back to the Andies because they couldn't get the job done.
- Results - Crisp lining.

CONS:

- Noise - my only legit complaint about these is the more powerful motor definitely stands out, they're loud as sh*t.
- Cord - I initially started lining myself while the cord still plugged in, it's a fairly secure connection but with the right amount of pull or tension and you will pull the cord out. Not that it matters much since these operate cordless but just a note.
- Cleaning brush - it's a little cheap, for a $200 pair of trimmers I expected the accessories to be higher quality.
- The Supply - I ordered these first week of November. They were on back order for over a month and I literally just got them today.

Overall, they're definitely worth the money. I'd recommend them to anyone who does their own cuts/facial hair trimming or is a barber. I'm verify pleased with the end results. The only thing I want to watch for now is how they age under moderate use.

I just picked this up last Sunday. I got a hook up from a long time breh I knew who works at the nearest PC Richards. Got it for $558 after tax, it normally retails for $648 so it was a steal at that price. I mainly wanted it for my bedroom and it was the best size/price as everything else was way too big and costly.

Pros:
Set up was nice and quick. Ran Google setup and was up and running within minutes. I then did a system update, turned on enhanced HDMI for HDR content and hooked up my devices.

Image Quality is beautiful. I know people always say you gotta have X size TV to see 4K benefits but that's also dependent upon how far you're sitting. Where it's sitting, it's about 3~4 ft away from me at eye level. My PC input looks crispy as hell in 4K. The increased resolution allows me to have multiple windows open and still see the whole window/task of whatever I'm doing so the increased detail/screen estate is helpful.

Gaming wise I haven't played too many games on PC yet since my GPU only supports 4K/60hz via display port so right now I'm stuck at 4K/30hz until I pick up an adapter. I only briefly launched Forza Horizon 3 and ROTR and they looked fine.

Colors look very nice on here and I set them to the settings off of RTINGS.com. Initially I set it up correctly but made a mistake of setting the brightness up pretty high which on this TV is also tied to the backlight and typically people like to have their TV's on MAX brightness, very high colors and all these image enhancement things to make stuff "pop" but that's not how the image is intended.

Things would be over saturated, blacks crushed, and detail in bright/dark scenes lost. That made my impression of HDR in some titles seem worse as each game implements HDR differently so UC4 looked like nothing changed, FFXV looked the same and Ratchet looked washed out.

I then lowered the brightness, adjusted the contrast and made sure everything was set and also followed some tips from other users of this set from forums like AVSforums/Gaf from folks who actually tuned their TV professionally. That made a big difference. Ratchet in HDR looks beautiful as details that were crushed/over saturated looked much more normal. The average person would deem it "washed out" or w/e but you gotta get used to it. I prefer accuracy>>>>artificial image enhancement/toxic bright colors. So if you have this set or something similar, set your brightness down to minimum and play in a dark or dimly lit room. A bright room or so needs higher brightness but you lose black levels detail and whatnot.

My TV has a rating of ~375 or so nits, which technically isn't meeting HDR10 standards for brightness but that doesn't mean anything since most HDR content usually peaks out way below that and SDR content caps out at 100nits so it's still a sizeable difference. All in all i'm satisifed with the way it looks now and I don't think I'll touch the image settings until i decide to get one of those calibration testing devices and tune the advance color options manually. Those "VIVID" or picture modes on these TVs are so fake looking. Oh and make sure the PS4 or Xbox is set to Auto for RGB settings and the TV too. Mismatched RGB settings can cause the screen to be washed out or crushed which means you're pouring jelly on yourself.

The apps are pretty cool, standard google play store stuff so you can load up some stuff on here from Android.
The menu speed is okay. Not very fast but it's acceptable.

All in all I really like the TV and am only now starting to enjoy it when at first I felt something was off. I gotta play more with the games to really see the changes in HDR as HDR is not just "brighter colors". HDR and WCG means there is a wider range of colors available that the TV can now display especially at brighter scenes so it's scene dependent.

All in all I think the TV is great and I can't wait to see better/more HDR content over time.

Edit: I forgot to mention the Motionflow thing on this TV is pretty nice. usually this brings heavy input lag but in fact It felt the same so I suspect it's very minimal. It makes motion looks mother, almost like a fake 60fps but I usually turn it off but it looks great on this TV for some games.

Cons: the brightness ain't all that so it's not the BEST HDR capable screen.

Make sure you pull your hair back and sit 2 feet away from the TV indian style to make sure you pick up on the 4 extra pixels and 3 extra frames per second that PS4 amateur is going to give you.
Infamous: SS has the best HDR I've tried yet on the PS4 Pro, especially in dark areas. UC4 looks good, but the colors don't pop as much

I only tried Infamous First LIght which looks good. UC4 HDR looks okay in some areas. The ocean in CHP 12 looks great as is the sand on the beach. It's hard to explain but it looks more natural? Ratchet and Clank at first looks more muted or "washed out" in HDR but that's because we're used to overly bright images with over saturated colors. Like this scene for example check out the black crush in the walls. *getting image*
In HDR the wall is properly grey and you can see everything, in SDR it's just a black wall.

Take account for the fact that this looks different in person and the HDR ON screen is much more pronounced but the SDR in Ratchet looks almost radioactive saturated. I think this may be a issue with Ratchet as my other games aren't like that. I'm still discussing this with some 4K HDR Videophiles over on GAF(AVSforum user).

I'm still tweaking off the baseline RTINGS.com settings but using them as a baseline since I use the TV in a dark room.

Yeah, I tried R&C with HDR on and it was okay. Not great. The color contrast really popped on Infamous: SS though (like really popped :wow:). UC4 is okay (though the graphics, HDR aside, are really, really nice).

My TV has 4 HDR settings, vivid, bright, something I can't remember, and Game. I've been playing on Game HDR mode (cuz it greatly reduces lag), but Vivid and Bright look great.

Maybe your TV has multiple HDR settings as well?

There's multiple settings but I use a custom setting because the other ones are just presets with those image enhancements that give you a fake processed Image. I wish I still had infamous. I'm gonna borrow it from my boy.

All 5 factory sealed for less than $100 total. Not super impressive given that most of these are like 2 years old but not bad I don't think.
Wanted Killer Instinct Definitive Edition and Rocket League too but I couldn't get a deal I liked. I think these 5 will keep me busy for a whIle anyway
