Lean into how the show became a goofy science fiction show by the end. Make it about Urkel and Laura's son and his robot friends and their multiversal adventures. Like a black Doctor Who but on Disney XD.
Have Myra's daughter live next door and in love with Steve's son, but for obvious reasons we never see Myra like how we never saw Steve's parents on the original.
I like this angle but I need it to be on some Rick & Morty type of meta fukkery. This would work best animated.

Makes sense though.
A LOT of people like the chase, and will keep going after someone just because they got turned down. Meanwhile they got someone who is every bit as good as or better than that other person (both men and women do this) but because that other person is infatuated with them they don’t really appreciate them, and are low key turned off by them.
