Lean into how the show became a goofy science fiction show by the end. Make it about Urkel and Laura's son and his robot friends and their multiversal adventures. Like a black Doctor Who but on Disney XD.
Have Myra's daughter live next door and in love with Steve's son, but for obvious reasons we never see Myra like how we never saw Steve's parents on the original.

What tf is wrong with y’all nikkasUrkel is getting abused by his parents, so he spends most of his time at the Winslows. Laura is sexually deprived, so she bounces around from guy to guy hoping for the night of her life. It never happens because when the time comes, she says she's not that kind of girl. It doesn't matter because the guys brand her as a slut anyway.
Despite Laura's low self-esteem and desire for male attention, she makes it clear that she hates Urkel and they're never going to fukk. Carl is dealing with trying to make lieutenant at his job, but the Chicago police has a bad reputation due to recent events. This makes inner-city kids look at Carl as . Beyond that, Carl has to pay thousands of dollars every time Urkel destroys something, and he hasn't been attracted to Harriet in a year and a half. He starts fooling around with Aunt Rachel, unbeknownst to everyone except Judy. He finds out that Judy knows about the affair, but doesn't take her seriously because she's Judy. When Judy makes an inappropriate joke about the affair at dinner, Carl threatens to put a bullet in her brain if she doesn't shut the fukk up about grown folks' business.
Eddie is a burnout. He gets girls, but only because he's tall. He dabbles in music, but can't play rock music because of its unpopularity, and he can't do R&B music because the GP would rather hear R&B vocals from people that look like Rodney. Eddie gets a job at Burger King, but gets shot after two weeks of working there and has to quit. Most of the time, he smokes weed with Waldo in his childhood tree house. It starts making the family wonder if Eddie and Waldo are lovers.
Mother Winslow is the only person in the family that loves Urkel and wants him around. However, she has a terminal illness so it's almost as if her opinion means nothing anyway.
Theme song is a chopped and screwed version of "As Days Go By."

Family Matters wasn't a good show. The further it went along the further it descended into Urkel madness. It started off much better but Urkel and crazy inventions derailed it. It was one of those shows people watched for the spectacle at the time but just doesn't hold up. Hell it got canceled and CBS picked it up and it ended in disgrace.Reboot Family Matters as a Drama like the Fresh Prince reboot coming to Peacock.
I'm basically a creative genius
