The Pistons aren't in any position NOT to take Cade.
He's the safest building block in the draft, and that's what they've been in desperate need of given they haven't had one for well over a decade now.

he’s no grant hill. Grant hill was a freak athlete
Low motor, not very athletic, doesn’t seem particularly hungry which is the case for a lot of players who have been on a similar path.

The athleticism is probably the only thing that might be a concern, but look at how good melo was and I'd pretty safely say cade is a better athlete
I can see why ppl might like other guys more but he's pretty close to being a sure thing in terms of being a nightmare to guard

While he is a three level scorer he had to dominate the ball to get to that level which might bode him well in the current structure of the NBA but he isn't elite at any aspect of his game.....

The Cade hype is a projection based on Luka's success being a 6'7/6'8" combo guard. I don't know enough about the others to say why he should or shouldn't be #1.

you just compared a player that can score at all levels and a good catch and shoot player and pull up off the dribble and hit 3’s to Ben Simmons.

I’m a Green guy myself but Cade will be nice. I just don’t think he’s fukking with Jalen tbh. The more I see cats like Donavan Mitchell eat, the more convinced I am that Jalen is gonna be a top 10 player in the NBA sooner than later. Plus, I think what Jalen did against G leaguers is more impressive than what any other these guys did against college players
