Reasons Why Pistons SHOULDN'T draft Cade Cunningham?

I can’t remember a draft pick ever being this convinced he’s the Number 1 draft pick immediately.

While I personally prefer Jalen Green (I just think he’s a better talent) this is about Cade. what are the criticisms of Cade Cunningham

what’s the reason YOU wouldn’t take him #1?

It’s not like he’s Kyrie or Zion level talent... or even Anthony Davis

Who says he can’t be a bust as well.

I’m not sure why cade is the hands down number 1 pick. He isn’t striking me as that Zion, AD, Rose type of pick. I can easily see a team being enamored without Jalen green or Mobley and him falling. But he is the number 1 prospect for a reason. I like his size and efficiency I don’t think he’s a super athlete or anything. But he can also shoot it.

but I am not seeing the massive disparity between green, cade, Mobley, Suggs….

Jalen Green has big time weaknesses but I guess the advantage he has over Cunningham is that Green is more likely to be the guy you say “go and get me 30” than Cunningham is.

Green has a higher ceiling. Elite Athleticism with a still improving handle and jumpshot. Very good defender for his size. Even though he only 180, finishes well through contact and has legit hang time, making tough finishes at the rim routinely.

One of the quicker first steps I've seen out of a prospect in awhile. That alone is gonna carry him until his handle gets better.


I'm not a fan of Mobley at all, but I fukk heavy with Jalen Suggs as well.


Cunningham is a stud tho. Big guard who can use his size, wet jumper, really good playmaker. He isn't gonna wow you with his athleticism, but he is just really good. If he improves his footwork, he can maximize his offense.
