i'm still traumatized . i left a note for my sister's bf at the time to NOT change the channel cuz the 2001 NBA all-star game was recording..dude changed it to the simpsons and I missed that EPIC comeback by the east.. there's only been 2 other good games since and none that good

It shouldn't have affected what you were recording. The VCR can record one channel while you view another. Sounds like dude trolled you by changing the channel on the VCR, and he woulda had to stop the recording to do that. He coulda just watched the Simps by changing the channel on the TV while the game recorded on the VCR.

Unless you had the signal going into the cable box first, then into the VCR, then you're fukked.

That was a shock but WB was just really starting as a network so it doesn't surprise me. Also goes to show that your inner circle isn't shyt when it comes to gauging what is the most popular shyt on TV because everyone I knew watched the Wayans..of course everyone I knew was 8 or 9 years old

True True and also Wayans Bros had just started in '95. I was only 2 at the time but I'm sure some older folks watched too cuz the Wayans had the 90s on lock at one point

I wasn't watching the first season. I didn't catch it until the 95-96 season. I got the first season on DVD and I was shocked at what I saw because it wasn't what I remembered. I know people were watching it but it was never a top 20 rating show in its history. It was a hit by WB standards but not by any of the big four standards
