It is crazy how after tons of Mario games Nintendo never really bothered to expand on the idea. I mean most gamers accept it because it's one of the oldest gaming franchises out there and just chalk it up to the usual suspension of disbelief excuse movies use in that if Bowser didn't there would be no game but it's 2013 now and games with no back story aren't going to get away with it anymore.

The Super Mario cartoon actually answered this question, though.

That place has become a cesspool of PC and Sony fanboys. Its best to avoid any thread with MS in the title because they in there just spewing all types of hate.

One example of their bullshyt is that if a game is exclusive to XBOX Live for a year then comes to PC then its great news and its one more reason for them to not want a 360. If a game is exclusive to PC for a year then comes to Xbox Live then it doesnt matter because everyone who wanted to play the game already played it on PC.

One MS decides to unveil their system, shyt will be aite. But strictly from a specs standpoint and information so far, Sony has shown they've learned form their mistakes. This is the age of the net and the always online DRM shyt, possible used game blocking, and MS refusal to comment isn't' helping. Word is spreading like wildfire on these nets and pushing their reveal back another month just adds to the pessimism against MS right now.
