My guilty pleasure is my commitment to this show. But he is making it hard for me, with his unrelenting attack on GOD and religion. Too often, it is completely uncalled for, irrelevant and off-putting, like a coli poster. I felt bad for the girl who played Blossom, when he said that she is obviously intelligent (she's a neuroscientist), so why does she believe in GOD? She was clearly taken aback. And last night with his unabashed support of Israel, I almost turned him off for good. He promoted the bigotry/racism of Jewish intelligence over another group of people (Muslims, which are people of all races and ethnicities, who adhere to a religion). He justified the murder of Palestinians and placed the blame on the innocent people. And finally he did so to a panel of all Jewish people! If he had someone with a bit of knowledge on the subject (of Israel or GOD), he would be thoroughly embarrassed.


His saving grace is in his criticism of irrational Republicans, and his special guests and their eye-opening stories. Had he not introduced me to Rev Dr. William Barber II and Baratunde Thurston, and the like, I would have turned him off long ago.
