JESUS' DEATH WAS ATONEMENT OUR SINS. NOT JUST FOR THE FUTURE BUT FOR THE PAST TOO. ALL THE RIGHTEOUS DEAD COULD NOT PASS INTO HEAVEN UNTIL THIS HAPPENED. SUPPOSEDLY THAT'S WHAT HE WAS DOING FOR THOSE 3 DAYS AFTER HIS DEAD. IT'S A VERY LONG STORY TIED INTO A FEW OTHER ONES. HARD FOR ME TO EXPLAIN IT RIGHT BECAUSE I'M TERRIBLE AT IT.

BASICALLY HIS DEATH DOESN'T GIVE YOU A GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD. IT JUST ALLOWS YOU TO BE ABLE TO CLEANSE YOURSELF OF THE SINS AND BE ABLE TO GO INTO HEAVEN.

Basically, he soaked up original sin and then died/went to heaven in a clever divine loophole. Because he did so, humans can now go to heaven/hell on their own merit instead of all going to hell (like the old testament prophets who all went to hell because they died prior to the birth of Christ).

i think people have gone to hell but im not gonna state that just yet until i find the verse on the other hand

your are saved by Gods grace and what i mean by that is jesus died for your sins. to explain that even deeper is basically since jesus was Gods son earths rules applied but at the same time since he wasnt of this world or even from the same original sin death couldnt hold him. and since it was a ongoing cycle jesus in turn broke it by coming back in three days(while in our reality we would have died and went to hell) when it says he died for your sins he literally took on all that you have done and all you ever will do and died in your place. instead of lets say you actually had to pay the price for what you did which is death no heaven just hell. so it was the greatest gift he oculd give basically another chance after sin began. he ask that you believe in him and walk with him and throw away the worldly ways. basically believing all that jesus died for your sins and allowing him to take control of your life.

Because its the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

The Son:
1) was our representative on Earth,
2) brought the teachings of God,
3) is the lamb that was sacrificed and the "blood of Christ" washed away our sin

I meant after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ no one has gone to hell yet. The first person sent to Hell was Satan.
