Customers are usually a$$holes, and black folks don't usually have the patience for all that shyt.
Two types of customers, people that want to be served, and people that want to partake in what you have to offer.
The want to be served types are always difficult to deal with, but people think it's good customer service to roll over and be treated like a dog by them.
Don't walk into a restaurant and give them a bunch of instructions on how you want your food prepared. They not there as your personal hired cook, they there to sell their own culinary creations.
you got a gluten allergy, hate dairy, but wanna walk them through making a grilled cheese sandwich in a way that caters to these conditions. Then be mad it doesn't taste as good as you thought. thats your creation not theirs. be mad at yourself.
Brehhhh I hate that shyt. A black family opened up a deli in the adjacent industrial park. Food is amazing...Everything fresh, customer service good. Everyone from black professionals, to students, police, white golks the whole 9. I used to go there sometimes with a female coworker of mine and every single damn time it's "Lightly grilled this"..."Light this"..."Can I have this on the side" that...It got to t he point where the instructions for the order took longer than multiple orders, and every single time it was an issue. Now insted of calmly expressing this she would drop this condescending ass tone where not only was I embarrassed I started to feel a certain type of way about how my food might be prepared being with her. After a while I just stopped including her. She latched onto another group here and continued to do the same shyt until they dropped her. She still can't figure out why staff approached her differently than they did us.
