The overhead on influencers is nothing, so they can pay them less than traditional celebs, but because the overhead is low the influencers can pocket more of the money. And then everyone can niche out into something and find an audience. Not a bad hustle for all those involved. My only concern/tradeoff is sometimes the quality, professionalism, and accuracy can be lacking significantly.

I think a lot of influencers that "have" these cars are renting them for content or have some weird financing situation with them. There are definitely some YTers out there pulling in big money and likely own supercars and hypercars outright, but I don't think they make up the majority. But I could just be hating, I have no data or evidence to prove otherwise.
