It's just that Christopher Nolan is terrible at directing fight scenes.
As much as I stan for Nolan...I've gotta agree, his fight choreography is trash.
Even the hallway seen in Inception, when you take away the gravity stuff, is really just a couple of hooks and uppercuts.
His shyt still works because he has a good sense of pace, and you do tend to care about the characters on screen...but the camera angles, choreography, etc...all seem a step below the rest of the movie.
