swizz had a few hits BUT too many misses. way too many. :laff: but yeah, he was NEVER a good producer though. any good beat he had was out of luck. he's better sampler though. he can't make his own beats for shyt. he might make a good beat pattern to go along with it but in terms of the keyboard.. absolutely terrible.

Swiss always had those Tourettes sounding beats to me...like he went into the studio, played every single instrument/midi, put a whistle on top it then called it a beat. his protege Neo Da Matrix is more musically inclined then him i'd say.

Swizz can come with bangers, then he can come average - when he misses, he misses but when he hits....it's a fukkin hit. I remember how much I loved the drum programming on Down Bottom. He threw them DJ scratches a lot in his earlier records, even had a young Just Blaze biting him with the horns & the scratches on that "Who Want What" with Beanie Sigel & Memphis Bleek and that earlier Amil album.

He laced Lil Kim with one of her hardest tracks in years when they dropped "Gone Delirious"
