I say AZ freaked it better tho..

crazy... i alwayz felt IU stlye/voice was a combo of rakim & kane
but for some reason he never got that chance to blow

Yeah...it was both Kane and Rakim.....(Masta Ace came out the gate sounding like Rakim as well but that hardly gets pointed out...listen to his verse on The Sympathy for proof)

I say Sugar Free was the closest thing Grand Daddy IU had to a hit and even that wasnt a big hit.

My favorite track from dude was this...

The verbal comedy is classic.....This was when cursing on records heavily was still the new thing in the 90's so it stood out tho it wouldnt stand out today

I think of Grand Daddy I U and I think of Candymans' "Knocking Boots" , Son Of Bezerk and 3 Times Dope

ehhhhh....something new was a very blatant Aint no Half Steppin ripoff.....and when he came back with that album in 94 he jumped on the hardcore wave like hammer did with the funky headhunter shyt.

in fairness, its the same camp. so its more of a spinoff, rather than a ripoff.
