China trying to kill off their elderly population before they all retire and become burdens to the state in the 2030s
This all could have been avoided if
A) Donald Trump didn't drop the ball on funding the WHO, thus allowing China to become their biggest benefactor
And
B) If the WHO was allowed to recognize Taiwan as a nation, when Taiwan was the first to report Covid outbreaks in China, weeks before the virus spread lutside of China.
Politics caused this. Even masks were politicized when they didn't need to be. Don't be surprised if there is a huge spread outside of China very soon, again...

Dec 23 (Reuters) - Nearly 37 million people in China may have been infected with COVID-19 on a single day this week, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing estimates from the government's top health authority.
About 248 million people, which is nearly 18% of the population, are likely to have contracted the virus in the first 20 days of December, the report said, citing minutes from an internal meeting of China's National Health Commission held on Wednesday.
