And I was responding to someone who brought up another Black Thought vs. Gibbs song. So I brought up another recent BT verse that I thought was better than Gibbs on Education.

I thought BT ran with it. Another show stealer on his run of features as of late. Mos Def still has it but his delivery is so subdued lately, people will sleep on what he's saying. Got Gibbs coming in last simply because somebody has to. No weak verses at all on this one.

But if we wanna get critical...every guest on Bandana washed him (Palmolive being the most egregious example), which is quite a feat considering how great the album is. Gibbs is dope, just don't put him beside someone with more to talk about (Black Thought), or somebody who has mastered the lane he's in (Push).

Balanced attack and potent verses by everyone involved, like Gibbs verse and energy on it the most. I always thought Black Thought got him pretty good on “Extradite” so this was dope to see from Gibbs

I'm obviously one of the biggest Gibbs fans on the board but I think BT and Mos Def got him.

I was kinda disappointed in Gibbs verse, to be honest. The song is called "Education", the vibe prior to his verse is kinda like some throw back Native Tongue sounding shyt....then Gibbs comes in and drops a verse that could be interchangeable with literally any other song on the album.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great verse. But Gibbs isn't nearly as one dimensional as people claim. He did "World So Cold" in 2009....he can and does rap about other shyt....this song would've been the time to do it, and he didn't.
