like Ive said, any time someone will publicly diss/say negative shyt about a 49ers player, Harbaugh will fire back.

lol, this to the fullest. if your oline has two guys who are held back by the same 285 pound DL and cant shed the block...maybe its time to re-evaluate your options there
with that said, the subtle holds and everything is all part of the game...just like in bball or soccer you have tons of deliberate contact. you have both kinds of holds on each side tbh. its just much harder to sell it when youre on offense, because naturally, its much harder to hold an offensive player than a defensive one

I mean, I dont see how these comments are bullshyt really. gilbride called out justin smith for alleged holding (ie cheating and getting away with it)
also, l dont think he cares whether or not it makes HIM a better man or a better coach. hence there's no ego. he just won't tolerate bullshyt thrown at players. he then goes on to say how crabs, aj jenkins, alex is great at something and one of the best he's seen, etc. its confidence builder 101, really. it's for his players, not himself
