Lol why are people picking and choosing when they like capitalism?

because its scammy and tacky. hes selling nothing of value, nothing of need, nothing that makes anything better for anybody besides his pockets and his wife's inflated ego. just because you can doesnt mean you should.

especially when the dude is trying to do something massive in the finance world and is fighting off allegations of not being legit left and right, he decides to do some huckster shyt for what...a couple thousand dollars and an ego boost? it doesnt look good.

being the big idea dude trying to change the world and empower a whole new class of investor...thats awesome. being the dude who nickel and dimes his support base by shilling them a paid livestream of a wedding, isnt.

if he wants to inspire people, allow his 'fans' to experience what should be a special and intimate day with him and his narcissist wife, he can easily set up a stream for free. easily.

if anything he's trying to do this to help write off some wedding expenses as business losses down the road. i kinda appreciate that...but its a fukkin racket. tacky as fukk. people should expect more from someone trying to take them to the financial promised land

How is this a con if he isnt forcing anyone to do anything AND you get what you payfor?

Would be one thing if you pay and didnt get your “e seat”

look dawg i've seen this "movie" before...trust me :umad:

i ain't knocking his hustle ...i think it's a brilliant idea...considering he has become somewhat a "celebrity" amongst social media

and we all know THE WEDDING is always a ceremonial show anyway ...

hell if GUCCI and KEISHA was able to get PAID for thier wedding...then i can't knock JAY for getting to the paper for his

i just wouldn't pay to see that :camby:

it doesn't make sense to MARKET his "wedding" to his "audience" of working class people living check to check...the last thing they need to be doing is frivilous spending..

and PAYING to see this mofo get married is FRIVILOUS AS FUKK :mjlol:

hes doing this so that his wedding can be sold as a business venture down the road when its tax time and he can write off some of the wedding expenses as losses. hes not necessarily trying to make money off the ticket sales. hes using that to prop up the wedding being a business venture. that photographer that was flicking up his wife? who would have been taking pics regardless?marketing expense for the promo of ticket sales.

the $50 price point is perfect because something like $10 would be seen as too cheap and $100 would be just enough to get people criticizing it

but at the end of the day the whole thing is just tacky and unnecessary. it makes his "brand" look like shyt

I really think it only makes his brand look tacky to people who weren't ever gonna get behind him in the first place. Hustle hating is some ho nikka shyt, what you just described sounds like an intelligent boss move to a nikka like me.

If he makes more money than he spends on this endeavor than that is a good capitalistic idea

Silly to think otherwise...

granted...this idea is grandiose, self-serving, and tacky... but if it generates legal income (which is the goal of a business endeavor) then it's not a "bad" idea.
You are thinking short term and small time......

There is also one's brand.... like you said, the shyt is grandiose, self-serving and tacky... and in no way moves his financial guru brand forward... so what's the point? He could do a lot for some quick cash... doesn't mean he should :manny:
