I read all the Harry Potter books before the movies came out and knew what was going to happen. Didn't feel spoiled at all.
Reading the plot and witnessing the plot are two separate mediums. It's more about seeing how well it's executed on the screen.
I imagine when they make a movie about the some real life event you're like we already know Lincoln is gonna be assassinated in the end. I'm not watching

It is exactly the same thing. except for the leaked videos. I knew the entire plot of Infinity War going in from the comics to the leaked outline and the only thing i felt kinda ruined the experience was the fact the all the black Panther scenes were already in the trailers, because i had seen those 100 times already.
