Y'know, those threads are doing too much, but ironically, if someone had created a different variation applauding and championing being dark skin, the thread wouldn't be looked at as a problem in the least. Hell, back on the 
there was a "Dark skin chicks appreciation thread" in The Ladies Room. Thread did numbers and was applauded. (Hell, it was a good thread.) However, three days later someone creates a "Light skin chicks appreciation thread" and the shyt was sent to Off-Topic within six hours. I'm light skin myself, and while these recent threads have been head scratchers, it's not deep enough to make me ashamed of anything, primarily when the thread could have been spun the opposite way and met with mass approval.

you guys are missing my point completely... i love being black... i love my skin... the issue i have is with nikkas who think theyre special or something cause they got a light complexion...

i think its just a different mentality where im at.. cause im up in canada... and there arent many nikkas in general... so the idea that i would have some "light skin pride" steez is stupid, we gotta stick together... i know for a fact being light skin and pretty good looking has enabled me to pull mad some pretty bad white broads from the clubs but i dont let it gas me up... i love nikkas in general.. light, dark whatever...
