I don’t think that initial statement is true..This the same company that limits how many times your account can be placed on another machine as well.
It's like these fakkits actually gain some sort of pleasure in disabling the content you are ultimately renting when you buy digital media.
Their 180 on backward compatibility is something I've came to terms with since I still own all my old media and consoles but this silly shyt is damn near Draconian.
Yea, ill just create a new profile for free. This is some Wishmaster shyt. Like why would our fukking name need to be THAT intertwined w/ the system? And i also feel they b-s'n us and just coming up w/ excuses on why the need us to pay.
Many folks don’t wanna lose save data and trophy progress associated with making a new account, let alone the fact that all of their digital purchases are connected to the account...Why not just create a new free profile?
On Xbox 360 back in the days I used to just re-add all of my friends instead of forking out £10 to change my name.
No. These are possible side effects for individual games. Things COULD get messy, but might be fine. Lets be sure not to muddy the messaging here..So basically, their name change update is the equivalent of just making a whole new account under a new name like we could have always done.
Youre not reading it correctly. Your DLC and games are always available for download. Its when devs that sell virtual currency and other lootcrate BS within the game that you might have an issue. We will see what pops upSo if I'm reading this correctly, if you change your PSN username you may lose access to your games and dlc.
fukking Sony
You won't fool me this timeI think Sony should hire some Nintendo networking people. I think even they will handle this better
@PS4 was right. So basically, their name change update is the equivalent of just making a whole new account under a new name like we could have always done.
