I was watching and I couldn't believe it...especially with how they set you up. The stopped match and him implying a WWF Invasion. Once it seemed like the WWF was invading, it was a like a new emotion you never had before watching wrestling. It hooked you all over again.
I used to buy and read PWI all the time...WWF Magazine. I knew every fukking name in WCW and WWF. I couldn't wait for it to go down.

The entire schematic was set up with such intelligence and intrigue, that you had to keep watching...wtf is gonna happen when Sting confronts Razor Ramon while he's talking like this? I had to see it

How it was scripted
Yeah I legit thought WWF was sending their goons to WCW...it hooked me at 12 years old and was incredibly surreal...I was still a mark
I'm not sure how adults may have felt or anyone older at the time but I bought it hookline and sinker and was hyped...I mean I know when Nash and Hall went and beat up the whole roster and threw Mysterio into the trailer people legit called the cops

Back then even though I did watch WWF, I'm in WCW country so I was a huge fan of shyt gone on back then due to more exposure.
WWF really only had RAW and WCW back then on TBS and TNT had 3 shows (Nitro on Mondays, a Saturday morning show at 9:05am, and WCW Saturday Night at 6:05pm.... the latter both on TBS)

This right here. I also fell for it when Jim Ross said Razor Ramon and Diesel were going to show up to RAW little after this and it ended up being impostor versions of them, I want to say the guy who was Diesel may have been Kane

I loved it! I was 15 at the time loving all the NWO stuff.. when Eric Bischoff decided to swerve everyone and be an actual member had me like ...

I knew they were showing up, I saw an interview with Vince before they left where he said they were showing up, they signed contracts with WCW. I wish I remember the name of the sports network, it was on cablevision briefly in the mid 90's. It was the first sports network I remember that has a continuous score ticker. But yeah I knew they were going to WCW.
