This is the part that pisses me off. The whole article is utter bullshyt, but to blatantly make up a supposed "backlash", when I'm pretty sure this :fan: is the first one to come up with this faux outrage, is beyond dishonest and reprehensible. Don't lie to create a purpose to bullshyt.
To dude who brought up young blacks going into journalism: I was going down that path in college until I realized just what sports journalism was. Not going into it is the best decision I ever made. There's no room for real dudes who realize the purpose of journalism is to inform instead of to instigate or sensationalize. True objectivity is not possible, but as a journalist you should strive to get as close to objective as humanly possible. Bias is not only embraced in today's journalism, it's encourage if not required.
