Loved this movie didn’t mind a less optimistic superman he doesn’t know his real parents or his people why shouldn’t he be conflicted
I mean it could definitely be a good film, but I'd they create a black super hero similar to Superman and make that MOS2 with Henry Cavill. I thought he was dope.

Movie tried to be Batman Begins for Superman but ends up feeling like The Amazing Spider-Man instead.
Ironically, this is the only DCEU movie I can tolerate.
You do realize that BB and MOS was both made by Christopher Nolan. And it didn't tried, it felt very much like BB and didn't feel like amazing spider-man at all.

shyt was trash. Before muhfukkas pull out the excuse again I wasn't expecting no Christopher Reeves movie either. People who use that argument must've never seen any other Superman portrayal in their goddamn lives to have that as the only comparison.

That's what the majority of people were crying about, the general movie going public that don't read comics or watch the animated versions. Because God forbid they go a different route with how they portray superman

Christopher Nolan was a producer, that was a Zack Snyder film and I think Goyer wrote it but Nolan pitched the idea but if I remember he didn't write anything.

I've written about this like a million times already so keeping it short:
- Rooting his entire upbringing in fear and paranoia
- Have him invoke no sense of inspiration at any point
- Zero care or effort protect those in imminent danger during any fight scene, except;
- to set up Supes killing Zod, because they clearly really really wanted Superman to kill

Well superman was pretty new to his powers and at the time he was trying to stop zod the whole time. In the end what was he supposed to do when imprisonment for zod proved useless. It's not like he murdered him in cold blood either, he was pleading with him to stop. People were asking for a dark superman movie yet when they got this new take they did complain it wasnt Christopher Reeves.

These talking point make no sense
1. Of course his father wanted to keep his powers hidden as a kid, you do know if the fbi,cia found out about Clark at 13 they would of ripped him away from his parents an immediately turned him into weapon? So he wanted him to stay low key until he was a adult
2. How could he be inspirational if when this is a orgin story dude literally learned about his real parents, zod, his home world, an the full extent of his powers in the same week.
3.why do think he killed zod, to save that family, and he saved those soldiers from that girl more then a few times
