Only the most levelheaded and secure battle rappers understand this shyt if u notice. nikkas talk all this shyt about Cass but these nikkas who been battling forever be fukkin up all the time. And doing shyt worse than Cass and be skating by. Only thing Cass is doing is getting better every battle. But like I said earlier. It ain’t about how good or bad Cass is. It’s a jealousy thing. They don’t like the attention Cass bring. Which isn’t even logical being that the more attention he brings to THEIR league the better it is for them. Jealousy is an emotion tho. Logic isn’t involved.
Something else. Cass got booed during the battle but he just rapped through it, he didn’t stop and complain or ask ARP to quiet the crowd, which is something at least 90% of other battlers will do. It seems like something small but that’s professional as fukk.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
I don't count that nonsense with Freeway, but sure, if that's what you want to think. In this era, he's been terrible aside from face-off fukkery. He's coasting on casual interest and whatever value his name has. Once or twice I understand, but it's just a waste of time now.

I would agree if said industry rappers were performing at a real level. Otherwise, they're swooping in and taking real battler's money and spots, while being mostly trash. You would feel differently if it was money coming out of your pocket.
No one is taking battlers money. These “real” battlers just ain’t drawing the interest to make the money. Like I said the fact that King Los got in and nikkas still hated on him shows u that it ain’t about skill level or none of that shyt. It’s not logical. It’s emotional. Which is why the most levelheaded and secure battle rappers have been honest about what time it is when it comes to this shyt.

Cass is more professional than alotta these nikkas too. And takes it more seriously. This is why he brings the energy he brings. All these nikkas supposed to be talkin like Cass and taking it as serious as him. This is why I only fukk wit select battles at this point. nikkas shytting on Cass and actin like a lot of these battles ain’t been trash due to nikkas mailing it in. Choking and other fukking goofy shyt that be goin on.

If cassidys raps are stuck in 2005 wtf do you call hitmans raps? (and a lot of other battle rappers imo)

some of cassidys shyt was weak but even his “2005” style is more advanced than the way hitman puts together his bars I don’t understand how people can’t see that

the crowd was on bullshyt though but Cassidy has gotten it way worse than that and never choked or stumbled but people don’t give him credit for that

knowledge the god who be at every event said he has never seen a battle rapper have to fight the crowd the way cassidy had to va goodz and arsonal come on man that shyt is lame

That's Cassidy's #1 problem. He values format/cadence over substance.

So as long as the structures there, it's ok to make "my ice so cold if you hug me it'll freeze you" and "my ice yellow like a canary" lines in 2021 in his head.

:beli:

His delusion hinders his growth. His win over Hitman (who was even worse) will only keep him stagnated in the long run

there’s an audience for what y’all consider outdated trust me

don’t let that man battle someone in a small room

ur gonna see the difference between him and who ever he’s battling I’ll put money on that

Now if screaming at the top of your lungs and jumping around stage is what you look for in a battle rapper ur never gonna get that from cass

There's an AUDIENCE for everything. What does that even mean? Somewhere there's somebody who enjoys limbless midget porn.

Factually speaking, he's 4/4 in getting boo'd (counting the live room with Dizaster) since his return. He doesn't connect with the modern landscape of battle rap. His views/ticket sales are generated by nostalgia and casuals who kind of like battle rap but don't care to invest time into learning about the Rum Nittys and Ez the block captains of the world, so they'll only tune in for a familiar name. Add that in with his actual music fans and you have the recipe for some decent #'s.

There's a wide margin between viewing (for some: stomaching) and being entertained

We saw that already and outside of his Dizaster impression, there wasn't to much memorable

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's garbage, I take the bitter with the sweet. But his battles are 3x more frustrating than a Hollow da Don battle. Hollow has 4-5 dry spots per battle and says some of the most cringeworthy shyt. Cass doubles that!

If he could just gauge what people like and subtract what people boo everytime he would be dangerous, but if Hollow who has 6x as many battles hasn't learned, then idk

I think all those nikkas he battled got boo’d as well so what are we really saying

and Rosenberg said the brc holds Cassidy to a different standard where he can’t get away with the shyt some other battlers spit and gets nitpicked

Cass stirs up emotions in a certain type of individual lol so him getting bood at battles isn’t a good barometer to the quality of his material imo

most the people that boo him are waiting for a reason to boo him

I just seen this shyt yesterday. I’m a huge rap fan but not really into battle rap. I know a lot of the names but don’t really watch any battles. I know Cass been getting clowned for his battles and they say his style is outdated, so I still be aware of some stuff even though I don’t watch battles. So I’m not a battle rap expert, just a casual fan that peeks my head in from time to time. So my perspective may be weird or sound crazy to some people.

To me Cassidy straight up destroyed that man. It was times where parts of his round wasn’t as potent the whole way through, but dude displayed a much higher level lyricism skill than Hitman. Hitman Holla can barley rap to me after seeing that shyt. Like none of his shyt really hit like that. He rap with passion but shut was falling flat.

So another battle comes on after that and it’s a dude talking about a fight and telling a story about how he got caught slipping. I ask my boy who is this and he say Bill Collector. I’m like ok, I know the name. Dude dope as fukk. So he was battling Hitman. Dude starts rapping and I’m like ok, let me see what he got cause this look like an older battle. Man, I was unimpressed again. I don’t like Hitman Holla at all. Most times battle rappers impress me on some level. Dude so underwhelming to me

And another thing. Hitman Holla kept crying for the crowd to be quiet and let him finish...but most times they wasn’t even interrupting him. I was like why does this dude have to keep starting his bars over and acting like the crowd forcing him to do it :why:
