1. It would do a lot for someone like Danny, or anyone who's not considered top or god tier already. For what though?? What is the obsession people have of Cassidy getting bodied, particularly by battlers of lesser notoriety?? Cassidy getting bodied doesn’t even help the culture; Cass brings in an energy and attention every time he battles that actually helps the culture overall. I’m not sure what anyone would even gain from Cass getting smoked, it’s not like anyone who seriously watches battle rap actually thinks he’s a top tier lyricist or performer, and it’s also not like any of this shyt is ever gonna “humble” him.
Cass ain’t hogging budgets though. Breh is clearly bringing more money INTO battle rap than he’s taking out of it; if he wasn’t, he wouldn’t keep getting booked.1. It would do a lot for someone like Danny, or anyone who's not considered top or god tier already.
2. Cassidy hogging up budgets and stinking up main events would end after the horrific body bag he would get put in.
He is hogging budgets. When else does RBE charge 50 for a PPV? Look at how cheap the rest of the card was. He and Hitman were probably 70% of the budget, with Cass being more than Hitman. Hitman earned it though.Cass ain’t hogging budgets though. Breh is clearly bringing more money INTO battle rap than he’s taking out of it; if he wasn’t, he wouldn’t keep getting booked.
And yeah it would help whatever mid tier battler IN THE MOMENT, but it’s not like it’ll make them a household name. I meant how would it help battle rap overall; Cass is good for the business.
Cass earned it too though, or else he wouldn’t have it. He’s not hogging the budget because he IS the budget. If he couldn’t get Cass, RBE wasn’t gonna spend that money on other battlers, you would have just had another random battler in there with Hitman at lower money. This isn’t the NBA. There isn’t some obligatory amount of money that must be spent and if one guy gets it the others can’t. You acting liked this shyt is charity and not a business breh.He is hogging budgets. Cassidy didn't earn shyt. He leveraged his celebrity, HUGE difference. He's been terrible since coming back. If he's not famous, he's O-Solo status. You went off on a tangent that is irrelevant.Cass earned it too though, or else he wouldn’t have it. He’s not hogging the budget because he IS the budget. You won our bet the battle as the battle is being debated. Send me a paypal addy or just pick somewhere for me to donate to if you don't want the money.
Personally I had Holla on first watch but right now I'm not comfortable saying Hitman won clearly without a second watch. First watch Hitman was just more polished and professional. He put a lot of effort into making the battle something to WATCH.
A day later the things Cassidy said were more memorable to me than Hitman's theatrics. Hitman tried to repackage some of his classic moments and it didn't work.
Cass had a lot of filler though, a battle rap nerd like myself is holding the extra time Cass used spitting mediocre punchlines against him. But at the battle Hitman had things set up in his favor and none of it was really damaging to Cassidy.
Hitman's real life little brother jumped in the battle (and almost ruined it).
His battle rap little brother John John was on stage right next to ARP cheering him on.
His multi-millionaire boss had to put on a Humpty Hump disguise just to show support and make a surprise appearance for a bar that wasn't really all that.
The brotherhood was on the set painting the narrative. All of Cassidy's "Avengers" talk use to sound like looney bin material from a dude who is out of touch, especially after that trash ass Arsonal performance. But in 2021 Hitman is the leader of a battle rap crew that works together to sway public opinion.
With all of that Hitman wasn't able to prove Cassidy didn't belong up there with him.
How did he EARN all this free money in BATTLE RAP IN 2021? I'll wait. 3 trash battles and 1 okay battle, and he deserves to be headlining and treated like and referred to as a God tier? Make it make sense. You don’t get itCass fasho earned it my man
