Couple things...

1.People wanted Cass to die so bad they can't admit he got better...
Wasn't the Greatest but he has been listening. People hate being wrong.

2. Why people acting like Hitman is a Bigger Draw than Cass? This Energy is not around when Hitman is Battling somebody else. It's OK to admit that Cass is a Legend and at one time considered the Dopest Lyricist In The World.
Every dude on this card got on it because of Cassidys Draw... and the Eyes that would be on it.

3.Why Battle Rap fans act like some of their Favorites ain't had a couple bad battles in a row..? When I see certain battlers talk down on Cass it's puzzling..
In my opinion Lux is the Only dude who can have an average battle... and his Bars still be able to Beat other Battlers Best Rounds...
Take Lux worst battle back.. and it could beat every rd.Tonight...

4.Last but not Least.. Cass loves the Culture.. Not just Battling but HipHop..
Always been dedicated to his craft and raising the level. It's OK to show respect and give criticism.. Battle Rap Fans and Battlers are Funny to me lol..

I wish Battle Rap would've just continued that small room (Covid induced) trajectory, it brought all the lyricists out to play.

I watched half the bootleg of Cass vs Hitman and switched it off, Hitmans bars and performance was fire but the crowd was there to hate.
I didn't understand that, I remember when based ass New York crowd would be booing Hitman before he even began rapping, and would be cheering him on by the end of his 3rd, coz even though the NY crowd had hometown favorites, they still liked bars above all else.

It's just a strange sight to me watching a socalled battle rap crowd NOT go crazy over legit fire bars and go absolutely crazy for the mediocre rhyme structure and 2005 Mixtape punchlines that Cass was using.

Cass is now the Brock Lesnar of Battle rap, they wheel him out for PPV specials to milk money out of the fan base

All facts. Except I didn't necessarily think Hitman's shyt was "fire"...it was nowhere near as trash as Cassidy's bullshyt tho, to me his shyt he was saying wasn't even mediocre.

If cassidys raps are stuck in 2005 wtf do you call hitmans raps? (and a lot of other battle rappers imo)

some of cassidys shyt was weak but even his “2005” style is more advanced than the way hitman puts together his bars I don’t understand how people can’t see that

the crowd was on bullshyt though but Cassidy has gotten it way worse than that and never choked or stumbled but people don’t give him credit for that

knowledge the god who be at every event said he has never seen a battle rapper have to fight the crowd the way cassidy had to va goodz and arsonal come on man that shyt is lame

Yea these dudes are extra critical of cas but his mediocre bars beat hitman a guy they used to say was top tier one of the best. I don’t follow all the behind the scenes stuff and I don’t follow these dudes on Twitter I just watch the battles when they come out and judge them based on what I hear and not who they are.

Cas had three rounds, he had rebuttals, he stayed on topic, it sounded like he studied and is starting to take this seriously as a full time job.
