I find it strange how some of our people are such big supporters of homosexuals when our community is the main one being ravaged by HIV/AIDS. Folks naively think that If becoming a sodomite becomes socially acceptable then DL cats will stop having sex with women when the exact opposite will happen. Why is she on a show called Black-ish when she wants to be called Colorless? As for the gay aspect there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

This. After much debate & suspicion when the show first came out as a result of the title...I actually really like the direction they take the show.

But it is extremely perplexing that after Ms. Symone publicly came out to say she doesn't want a label & she essentially splintered herself off of the "Black unity," that she'd actually be apart of this show.

It also makes me do a double take on the show because they shouldn't have allowed her on it. If my vision for a Black prime time show was to show the middle class Black experience..I wouldn't let someone like her on it.
