What if in addition to going at Drake, Kendrick did all this as a way to breathe life back into hip hop so he can get credited as the savior?

Ken has a god complex, he’s probably retiring in 4 years, no real viable rapper replacements for him, so why not crash out (Like That), name other rappers (Not Like Us), talk about cleansing rap (Watch the Party Die) & it’ll lead to rappers being less lazy with their pen and putting more creativity and energy into their projects?

Joey Bad & Ray just dropped some shyt that got people talking, what are they gonna do now to parlay that into people continuing to talk? It’s like Control all over again. Light diss with the intent to spark energy.
