Read through the thread and there is so much hate on Ray Allen for signing as a "free agent" to go to the heat

Yet the outrage is minimal for Nash :wtf:

I can never understand this white privilege!! :aicmon:

I think the outrage over Ray Allen is overblown, but him and Nash were in two completely different situations.

The Suns didn't even make the playoffs the past two seasons and were at a point where they were looking to rebuild.

The Celtics were just in the conference finals and were looking to make one last run with their core.

Even the way the front offices approached things were different. The Celtics were constantly shopping Allen before the trade deadline. The Suns held on to Nash and were willing to do whatever he asked regarding his future.

Don't bother man. It was only about time someone brought that up. Some folks just love looking for racism where it doesn't exist

breh, I love to point out white privilege whenever I have the chance but yooo this is totally different

Suns were trash and wasn't going nowhere with Nash anyway

while Ray Allen left for the team that knocked him out of the ECF a month ago. Boston were looking to compete and dude already has a ring too. Not to mention that Celtics offered him the most money so dude basically said suck it to Celtics breh, fukk that nikka

Good move for Miami, it always seemed like Ray Allen and Rondo didn't get along too well so I'm not really surprised by this.

And all of that was WELL within his rights. The Celtics are not his family, his wife, or his parents. They are not friends. They are an ORGANIZATION which he chose to leave so that he could compete on the best ORGANIZATION that was right for him it ain't about "fukk that nikka" it's about him handling his business and having the common sense to not be suckered with words such as "loyalty" by rich CACs in suits who couldn't give a fukk less. :comeon:

Come on man, you know damn well Ray was hurt and had to miss a lot of games because of it. When he came back he still wasn't right and he had to have surgery because of it. There is the hope/strong possibility that once Ray gets right in the off season, he'll be back to what he was prior to the later part of this season.

Also, Heat fans know he'll get a lot more open looks than he did in boston. He'll basically be utilized better than he was in Boston, because he was even getting double teamed at times when he had the ball. Lebron+Wade will draw the attention away from him, and then it's buckets for Ray.:upsetfavre:

Allen can do whatever he wants obviously, but of course fans are going to get pissed that he went to a rival. Isnt that what being a fan is all about?

Well, I'm with you until you said they are not your friends. Obviously the people in the organization isn't but to act like KG and Pierce isn't is just :beli: nikka how the fukk you gonna turn your back on the people that carried you to a ring?

It's not loyalty to the organization, matterfact fukk the organization. It's loyalty to the people who you played with for the last five years and the fans that has been cheering for you all these years.

How the fukk you gonna leave the two people who got you your first ring to team up with the guys who stood in the way of your second? shyt is beyond disgusting man. Imagine yourself teaming up with them nikkas who knocked you down? That ain't where I'm from breh. :yeshrug:
