Just watched Sportscenter and segment title reads..."Free agent guard Ray Allen will sign with Heat after 5 seasons with Celtics."
This dude is plugged into the Coli like the Matrix. I think he might be Agent Smith brehs. He's an actual program in the website.
112 pts per game..thats how i look at it
Read through the thread and there is so much hate on Ray Allen for signing as a "free agent" to go to the heat
Yet the outrage is minimal for Nash
I can never understand this white privilege!!

I think the outrage over Ray Allen is overblown, but him and Nash were in two completely different situations.Read through the thread and there is so much hate on Ray Allen for signing as a "free agent" to go to the heat

The Suns didn't even make the playoffs the past two seasons and were at a point where they were looking to rebuild.
The Celtics were just in the conference finals and were looking to make one last run with their core.
Even the way the front offices approached things were different. The Celtics were constantly shopping Allen before the trade deadline. The Suns held on to Nash and were willing to do whatever he asked regarding his future.

breh, I love to point out white privilege whenever I have the chance but yooo this is totally different
Suns were trash and wasn't going nowhere with Nash anyway
while Ray Allen left for the team that knocked him out of the ECF a month ago. Boston were looking to compete and dude already has a ring too. Not to mention that Celtics offered him the most money so dude basically said suck it to Celtics breh, fukk that nikka
Come on man, you know damn well Ray was hurt and had to miss a lot of games because of it. When he came back he still wasn't right and he had to have surgery because of it. There is the hope/strong possibility that once Ray gets right in the off season, he'll be back to what he was prior to the later part of this season.
Also, Heat fans know he'll get a lot more open looks than he did in boston. He'll basically be utilized better than he was in Boston, because he was even getting double teamed at times when he had the ball. Lebron+Wade will draw the attention away from him, and then it's buckets for Ray.
Mike can barely walk the last 2 years
Jesus' 3 point shooting is 2 things Miller's usually aren't..consistent and high volume

And all of that was WELL within his rights. The Celtics are not his family, his wife, or his parents. They are not friends. They are an ORGANIZATION which he chose to leave so that he could compete on the best ORGANIZATION that was right for him it ain't about "fukk that nikka" it's about him handling his business and having the common sense to not be suckered with words such as "loyalty" by rich CACs in suits who couldn't give a fukk less.
