so why did he delay the retirement for few years? If those teams wanted him why he didn't go there? And the answer is no those teams did not want him, those were just bunch of rumors. He tried to stay in shape hoping a championship contender signs him for a playoff run, but he's a 40yr old spot up shooter who is negative on defense at this point.

Whatever helps you sleep at night I don't know why he choose not to play but it was widely reported theses teams wanted him I have no reason not to believe at the very least legm didn't want ray.
