Black Star = way overrated album

Funcrusher is wack as fukk pots and pans rap

Mos' album is crazy

Pharoahes is dope

Reflection is dope but overrated

Soundbombing 1& 2 are good. 3 is ass

The LL double cd was straight garbage

The G Rap album was terrible

The patchwork Big L album was decent

Overrated label that had an annoying, unwarranted air of elitism surrounding it

You dapped more things than you dissed. So how is it "fukk them?"

How does anything about Rawkus breathe Elitist? They were THE premier underground back-pack label when commercial rap was making diversity in hip-hop obsolete.

We terrorized their offices one afternoon hitting them up for free vinyl. you'd never see a lamer cast of squares in an office if you tried.

The Co Flow shyt was too much. They pushed that wack, non rhythmic sound like it was next level. They had the mini roll going with mos-pharoahe- reflection but it was all short lived and they sold the fukk out quickly.

Not arguing with you on the Co-Flow shyt. El-P gets on my nerves. I do own Funcrusher-Plus, though :mjpls:. It's different.

Talib might have sold out, but how did Mos and ESPECIALLY Pharoahe Monch sell out?

explain mayne..

Instead of sticking to their initial vision, they started morphing into a label of the times. They mishandled quite a few projects and some projects from established artists never saw the light of day. Basically they got lazy real quick...there are rumors that they wanted their artists to change up, they asked Last Emperor to take his shirt off and flex muscles and such.
