Book someone as near main event quality. Lets use Seth Rollins. Book him like you booked Miz with the underdog wins. Let him beat an established ME heel like Mean Mark. He goes on to have a really close match with the WWE champion in a clinic on Raw only to come up short. Move him to midcard while still putting over that he came within an eyelash of becoming the champion. Let him win a midcard belt and develop a winning streak even in non title matches. Basically book him to succeed and make him look credible and keep it consistient. They even let Shelton beat HHH. Made me believe he was the future..
