I bet not getting those viewers was something Vince didn’t see coming. He expected everybody that was firmly behind WCW to just automatically focus on the WWE, and it didn’t happen. A lot of those fans either moved on to the UFC, or fell out of wrestling all together.
I'd say let the 30 minutes be for promoting the show along with pre game commentary like they do with PPVS and then let the 2 hours be strictly for the show.

But what do they expect? The business and characters are over exposed at this point where they are straight up telling you that what your watching is fake. Wrestlings main draw was the mystery of believing that what we were watching was real.. Even if its a work.. The mystique was what drew us. Even though we had Beyond the Mat, Shoot interviews, and Wrestling with Shadows.. The characters alone was still interesting enough to where the moment Raw or Nitro came on, We didn't care.
Today not only is the business over exposed but the characters aren't interesting. The Commentary is dull and one sided to where none of the characters can really benefit, The crowds are boring and Theres no real cool baby faces to cheer for.
Plus modern culture done took elements of wrestling and made it cool. UFC doing it, Boxing is doing it, Donald Trump is doing it, Soulja Boy did it, The fukkery from hip hop beefs, Reality shows, They all took what made wrestling cool and went levels with it.

Seth ain’t a draw & he’s much better as a heel. Becky is overrated and overexposed without Rousey. Strowman is ruined. No real “superstars” like Cena, Brock, and now Roman.

They have no plans for anyone basically, so they’re all treading water. Keep in mind that they really didn’t want Becky anywhere near this spot and hoped the fans would get behind Charlotte against her in the fall, they haven’t done anything character-wise with Rollins since he came back from injury in 2016 basically. Nobody has any direction, so the show is gonna feel pointless. It’s not like they even try once wrestlemania is over until late July anyway, and even that is debatable these days. I mean baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre are raw’s top heels
Roman has never been as purely over as Becky...so calm down with him being a real star...Cena never really was but he was pushed like he was. He was rejected mostly since he had that Jericho and Angle feud in 2005. They would love for Roman and Cena to be accepted like Becky is...lol@overexposed. About as overexposed as Taker, Austin, etc.
