I picture him saying that a year ago, he spoke out and tried to change things, and it's still all about Cena and Rock while he is the champion and taking the backseat... something to that effect. Like he tried to give "the Universe" something different and better but they didn't appreciate it and instead continued to support the status quo that he spoke out against.

Just watched the replay. Few thoughts:

D-Bry will be fine, he has enough talent to stay relevant. If he kills the "yes" stuff for a bit and just goes dark (like he did when leading up to WM) he could bounceback very well.

HHH/Brock is looking like a clusterfukk, no chemistry.

Prefer Punk as a heel like everyone else but don't know how long it can really last as Rock won't be there every week to offset him. I suspect he'll have to shoot off on the city/crowd every show. Rock selling that clothesline though was but he took that shyt GTS to the face like a champ. Even Dolph Dawg was probably backstage. Won't happen but Rock/Cena vs Punk/Big Show at Summerslam wouldn't be too bad.

He's much better and agile at a smaller weight. Hope he doesn't bulk up again for RR. Especially if he's facing Punk or even Bryan.

I think it all comes down to what the movie role requires of him. That's his primary focus/money-maker so he's gonna drop/gain according to that.


Also, I'm not sure how many of you guys watched that 40 min+ Q+A session with Punk a few months ago at a comic book convention, but I knew a heel turn was coming soon just by his response to whether he preferred being a good guy or a bad guy. He essentially said the past year or so has sucked for him because he hates playing the role of Face and would much rather be a Heel.

That would be absolutely terrible. He would be cutting the same promo that made him a face in the first place. The goal is to be a heel. The only way THAT promo would work is if he blamed the fans, there isn't anyone there on a week to week basis popular enough to get punk booed. It's going to be on him to get heat, not cheers.
