I don`t judge nobody...BUT, going on how Charlotte is in the ring. I bet that she thinks "returning the favor" is beneath her.
I figured it out.
They send Sasha and Bayley over to Smackdown... and they're building to WM, which means 'gotta make Charlotte Cena and Becky Orton look good' season... but the brand split means they can't sacrifice Sasha at the alter of the Figure-8 and can't have Becky and Bayley have dull matches that they can blame on Bayley's work and not Becky's blandness in the ring...
So they called in Asuka.
They are literally using her right now in the same way they used to use Sasha and Bayley; elevators for their chosen top people. Plus, some 'anything you can do, I can do' subliminal shyt.

I like to see Asuka out here... but that they're just gonna job her out on two consecutive nights to Becky and then to Charlotte like she's another box to be ticked off their checklists in WM season ain't it
Man. Let Asuka and Kairi spend some time on Smackdown beefing with Bayley and Sasha for the tag titles and let that beef lead to the Bayley/Sasha match at WM or something. This is just egregious.
Asuka is proof of that old thing they used to say about wrestling, where sometimes being a good hand who can carry anyone to a good match can work against you. If she made these heffers look less good while putting them over, maybe they'd stop trotting her out to job for them.
I don’t know. As good of a worker as she is, they run a lot of promo on sound bytes for the women. It seems (to me) like the hierarchy works in order of people that have a solid ratio of mic ability, crowd reaction, and availability for the main roster chicks.
The matches are solid when you get to them, but the lead ups have always been kind of
