I mean, it sucks to get stuck with such a bill, and he can't really 'afford' to do this, but if this breaks him financially he's made plenty of other poor financial decisions. :yeshrug:

People act like when you make more money, the value of the dollar goes down.

It doesn't.

That 12k in his hands is the same as 12k in your hands. Money is money. That's a lot of money to do alot of good with (if one so chooses)
I'll go IK Enemkpali on anyone trying to get me to pay 12k for a dinner.

What's new. Others have paid more. That's just how it is in any professional sport.
thats "how it is" if you accept it. i would said "separate check", payed my $80 tab and left. anyone with anything to say could be shown that i settled up on my debt.

11k, they would have had my fukked up. sticking the person with the least financial means with a tab like this, his momma probobly in the hood,

Thats what I'm saying. I'm all for the team tradition shyt but thats close to $12,000 (without even counting the tip) out of a $600,000 salary. :camby:
That salary is before taxes.

It is a pretty a$$hole move to kill a rookie's pockets that way, when that dude hasnt seen any major NFL money in any way..

Are people still really surprised by this? It happens all of the time. It's basically rich people buying other rich people dinner. There's plenty of rookies this happens to, but there aren't goofy enough to tweet out the damn receipt......and for anyone who says they wouldn't pay? Trust me. You pay that fukking bill. It's a rite of passage you don't wanna play with.

What's going to happen if you don't pay? And don't tell us anything generic like its just something you don't want to play with.

shyt ain't cool at all. He'll probably get cut next year, then be kicking himself for blowing 11 grand so foolishly. I wouldn't even go out to eat with teammates if I was a rookie. Fukk all that. Just the gym, games and home.
he doesnt have much chance though. these nfl nikkas will probably make your life difficult for not "being a team player". End up cut same way
