I had to dap everyone in this thread. And to give Daylito points for one of the most illest storylines that should have happened. I remember when Scott Hall was walking to the ring and Raven stepped over the barricade then wcw went off. They never followed up with that.
That episode ended with Raven on one end and Curt Hennig on the other i believe. One of the best cliffhangers i've witnessed in WCW... but like you said, no follow up whatsoever. Raven could have really been extra special in WCW during that time, but they used him to fill up the undercard. Its not like he didnt have the wrestling talent to be in the WCW main events; those things usually stunk!

Dope post.

Those Horseman, Flock, Filthy Animals (?) tag matches were awesome. I remember Arn sliding in to hit Saturn with a spinebuster out of nowhere and just marked out!

^word but being Young we aint know who these "gimmicks was based on" Raven was basically Cobain

I caught on right away. It was clear that on top of being almost cultlike, there was a devotion to their dear leader that went way past wrestling-style loyalty and into something sinister and quasi- erotic.

Does anyone know what Raw/Smackdown episode in 2000 where Vince was backstage and saw Raven and screamed, "Who the hell hired Raven?"

:mjlol:

Nope. Who the fukk hired JOHNNY POLO.

That Flock vs The Wyatts mini feud would have been :russ:
"Who's on whose side?"
A Raven vs Bray program would have been dope, too.
His theme that played off of 'Nirvana's Come As You' Are is a classic.

Figured that The Wyatt Family would be something like that. They almost were when Bray corrupted Daniel Bryan and recruited him. Don't know why they don't have Bray brainwashing guys that no one gives a fukk about like Ryder or Fandango. Seeing feuds & storylines built from guys breaking out of corruption is great. I marked for Saturn breaking out and freeing Kidman. :ehh:

Seems like the WWE has even acknowledged that this would have been some piff.

Oh and it hasn't been brought up yet, but I respect him for his lawsuit against them. "Independent Contractors"...:francis:
