i thought the flock was genius i didn't know anything about the whole grunge scene. i always felt the flock was more toward wrestling fans who were skateboarder, marilyn manson and heavy metal fans.

ravens ecw flock was more comedic with meanie and richards but i actually liked the wcw version with sick boy, saturn, and lodi. shyt went stale when they added fukking horace hogan and reese just horrible

Figured that The Wyatt Family would be something like that. They almost were when Bray corrupted Daniel Bryan and recruited him. Don't know why they don't have Bray brainwashing guys that no one gives a fukk about like Ryder or Fandango. Seeing feuds & storylines built from guys breaking out of corruption is great. I marked for Saturn breaking out and freeing Kidman.

As for The Flock as a whole, there were so many subtle things that made them great. Ravens Rules, Evenflow DDT (rock band references), Saturn as the enforcer, Kidman as the young talent with potential that got strung out and brainwashed, Sick Boy with "The Cure" as his finisher ( another rock band reference), Scotty Riggs being a former pretty boy, rocking the eye-patch after Raven injured him, and joining The Flock after that, Big Reese walking to the ring with an itchy Kidman on his shoulders.

I don't know if they could pull it off as well now, but I always thought it was dope how The Flock would just post up in the front row of the crowd like and jump the rails to stomp someone out. They need to use all of that as a blueprint for Bray.

Funny, looking back now, they all dressed like Cena. :cenasabo:
