i understand that there is white blood in me, but my question is where do yuo draw the line between black and mixed.

Is one drop of white blood, automatically mean that you are mixed. Cuz if that is the case, then nobody in America is truly "black" :yeshrug:
now you're back tracking, previously you said you have no euro lineage, now you're admitting it.

African American is a race.
American is a nationality.

All "African Americans" are in fact American.

There's an argument to be made that some may prefer black, negro, brown, ect over AA.

But you can't substitute a race for a nationality.

Her and the rest of you idiots missing this point need to educate yourselves before making comments on such issues.

Learn how to read.

Black and AA are a Racial determination. Therefore they are interchangeable.

"American" is a nationality, therefore it can't be interchanged with black or AA.

African-American is not a race. no such thing as interchangeable when it comes to race. either black, white, Asian, mixed.

Aren't you from the UK or something?

I think you have a fundemantal misunderstanding of the meaning of the words you are taking about.

African American is not the same thing as "Asian-American" or "Arab-American"

African American is another word for black. It is not ment to denote a persons ethnicity/heritage, only their race.
