she is a vocal musician in every way possible. Her ‘ear’ is venomous.. things that a normal good singer wouldn’t hear. Her approach and interpretation of melody in any meter at any tempo is unheard outside of the pillars like ella fitzgerald and more modern would be kim burrell. It goes deeper than her just having a great voice. her improv ability ..man. I wish I could play the keys just as well as well as she sings. A human sax!

i don’t understand for the life of me why people equate vocal merit on a high soprano range or lots of volume which ppl confuse with ‘power’

How did she rate this low, she is a 9. In terms of pure vocal talent, she is the best singer in her age range.
