Wouldn't be much of a chart success though. I loved that she branched out into that urban r&b scene with Stranger in my House and So into You. Idk why she never blew up. It's not like she had much competition during that late 90's early 00's era. I can't think of any solo female act that was dominating that era. Maybe Aaliyah and Ashanti, Deborah Cox? Beyonce wasn't solo yet. Alicia Keys dropped in 02 I think. Tamia shoulda crushed the buildings.Word
I often times think Tamia should've done more songs like that, or in that vein of smooth laid back R&B and Jazz
