Very good vocally.... Miseducation is a classic no doubt.... But I wouldn't put Lauryn in the "elite" vocally.... U talking about young Whitney/Mariah status?.... Naw...
we just judging vocals breh. All that other shyt irrelevantOne of, if not, the most overrated artists in the modern Era. Released only one album that made her a "legend" because she was claiming to have written/produced all the songs herself. Writers and producers were not paid so they left and we never heard from her again other than that weird MTV Live shiit. She is talented, but not legendary. Whitney shiit all over her vocals
A ten. She’s a powerful vocalist who can project without coming off as shouting. Her one solo album still feeds us. If Lauryn wishes to give us new music that’s like great, if not that’s fine too.
Thats my favorite Lauryn Hill song breh. Just her vocals and that guitar have me feeling like we in the same room and she singing to me. I can never turn that song off when it comes on. Always gotta play it all the way through.fukk it, im rollin 10
my favorite song of all time is Sweetest Thing
bumped that at work yesterday

You already know. nikkas voting 10 gon be stuck when the heavy hitters get postedGoing a conservative 8 because of the ones I know are gonna be in the 9's and 10's
I like how her voice is raspy but she has a clean falsetto. She knows her voice and how to work around her limitations. She held her own while singing with Tanya Blount, who can blow her damn self
