10 does not do them justice..they are hands down the best outfit in R&B to me..ever..Maurice White is a personal hero and inspiration,him Fred and Verdine are an triumvirate of excellence with the genius of Philip Bailey added makes them a goat level band.I love the early albums more than the slick production they gravitated towards later but still incredible music..Open our Eyes,The way of the world,Spirit,EWF are my faves...uplifting spiritually,coded messages galore and a knowledge of ancient civillisations, religion while giving you top notch music and black men that you could look up to.You cant have a convo about music period without naming them.Listen to Earth Wind and Fire(the song) and all you need to know about the nature of man towards God/Law is explained in that song. They will play this at my funeral and praise Law while celebrating the time i was given on earth before rejoin Celestial Law

I used to always look at those album covers. My pops was anal about that shyt. He kept his records in alphabetical order by group and in the order they were released. He had over 2,000 but always knew when one was out of place
