No no no, that I remember pretty well. It wasn't even OP, it was some other guy who had a chimp in his profile pic. I think he called me ugly and I fired back with: 'Well you got your profile pic up.' I was roasting him but he ate well off that comment.

You're right. It bothered me more because I used to read every neg message. I couldn't make a simple post (most of my posts aren't even negative or biased). I could give a compliment and get a neg "go burn in hell fakkit", then it would seem like they would keep flowing, as if they'd be watching my reps to add on. I would get alerts every time someone negged me. I found out a few days ago (before the rep went away) how to turn it off so I won't have to read it. That's why I stopped posting for a while and just lurked because I couldn't even make a simple post without the hate.Jayne, the funny thing is reading upon some of the comments, I remember someone said apparently he was a big time troll/bully but tried playing the race angle for sympathy. But the internet sustains on porn, trolling and hate, so don't expect anything differently. I see you worrying too much about some illiterate transphobes and I'm like: 'Can't you see how he articulates himself? Why would you even care to respond?'
But that's just because I sympathize a lot with you. I used to care a lot about my mom's opinion until it dawned on me how much she spits without thinking/knowing. Nowadays I look outside if she tells me the sky is up.

I think you're a lot like me in the way that you just don't understand WHY some people put the effort to display hatred. It can't be unhappiness because in a way, it should allow them to sympathize with others. But there will be people like that and they aren't meant to be understood. With me it's simple: If it's unfounded, irrational, religious and emotional rhetoric, I don't waste my time because it's beyond my power to help them. The more you avoid people who can't stand to be wrong, the more you'll spare your sanity. If you look close enough, you can even get an ego massage from boundless ignorance. Now, I'd hate for this to be interpreted as some cis 'turn the other cheek' bullshyt. I'm just pragmatic, but I know life isn't always that easy so please be safe out there. There's lot of violence directed towards trans women.
