I dont disagree bout that on food but that can happen in alot of places tho
I love it for the beauty and the architecture more than anything else
Tourists be damn :russ:

Still have like japan major cities as GOAT for me tho

Think venice beauty is where u take ur girl or wife too compared to most places hit em with that romantic tip

Yeah definitely more of a romantic getaway spot.

Took my fiance expecting the romantic getaway I always dreamed about but ended up staying 2 days instead of 5 days. I guess I was just turned off by all the tourists. I got those more of those romantic butterflies in Florence Cinque Terra, Vienna, Brussels, and Budapest. But you are right the architecture in St Marks Square is remarkable.
Venice needs 2 days tops IMO...especially if you're doing other Italian cities.

Visit maybe.... maybe take a tour

but thats it... no real interest until i see the nightlife

Seems overrated and half my fam is italian

There isn't really nightlife. This isn't a place you go for that type of trip or even that type of night.

7/10 Took my wife for our 15th anniversary, here's a secret. Venice is really a day trip city, 2 tops. You should be staying in small places like Padua or cities outside the immediate area if you're looking for the best experience. Best food was at some 5 table joint where an old lady did all the cooking. Most of Europe is like NYC in the sense that the best food and stuff is where one knows about.

Yep.

Also, going to Venice and Italy in general during the Winter is a great move if you can deal with the cold. There are just way less tourists and if you play your cards right, you get many more experiences just by yourself. I'm talking Colosseum and Vatican tours when there are only like 10 ppl in your entire group.

I went to Venice in January and it was great. Definitely more of a traditional feel...not nearly as hectic as it looks in the summer videos I see.
